"When I moved from Collierville to New York to go to college, it was a huge adjustment. My beliefs were challenged for the first time in my life, and I realized pretty quickly that I couldn't back them up. I couldn't answer the people who questioned them. I HAD no answers. My beliefs had been spoon-fed to me and reflected the small town culture I had grown up in. I realized it was time to find my own way, so I questioned everything, I tried everything. I think it's because of that experience, because I was exposed to so many different cultures, beliefs, and thoughts, that I can relate to a lot more people now. I've finally figured out what I believe, but I'm still figuring out how to apply those beliefs, what to do with them, and how to use them to help people. I'm still looking for that niche where everything will fall together and I'll know my purpose in life."
