"I've been doing pageants since I was 4, and I'm 7 now. They're not beauty pageants; they're about helping kids have confidence. We have interviews and learn to speak well and have good posture. At my last pageant, I started thinking about what I could do to help other children. I could teach community classes for free to other girls to help them be strong and learn how to show what they've got. Everybody has talent. I'd like to teach girls singing, dancing, acting, how to play drums and guitar, and how to get along with each other and be friends. I might even start teaching classes next year. My mom said she would help me.
"When I'm an adult, I want to be a pediatrician and help children worldwide. Right now, at the age of 7, I'm afraid of blood. Pediatricians see lots of blood, so I'm going to use the confidence and strength that I already have to stop having fear of blood. I'm going to be what I want to be and help children have a better life. I might work at St. Jude and fight cancer."
