"My brother was in a car accident when he was 20 years old. The doctors said he'd be paralyzed, but he can walk now. He uses a cane, but he can walk. I saw a lot of determination in him, and it really impacted me. Anything is possible. If someone says you can't do something, that isn't necessarily so. You just have to push yourself harder. I think I've become a more open-hearted person since my brother's accident. More understanding. You know how when you see someone who's in a wheelchair or who has some kind of handicap, how you look away because you don't want to embarrass them? I was like that, but because of my brother, I don't see the disability anymore. I just see the person."
