"I know this sounds hokey, but I feel like songs are just given to me, like the universe sends them my way, and it's up to me to capture them. Even if I weren't performing, I'd still be writing songs; I can't not write them. For now I'm selling CDs out of the trunk of my car, but my album through Farmhouse Studios is due to be released in early summer."
