"I was performing on a beach in California---singing, playing instruments, telling jokes, blowing bubbles, entertaining---when a circus owner passed by. He saw me, we talked and, to make a long story short, a week later I was in the circus. Now I’m the emcee, the one who invites the kids to come down on the floor and play games during intermission and after the show. The kids who come running, dancing, showing out, jumping - those kids are going to be your future entertainers. They’re ready. I love to see the kids having fun and participating. “I started in the circus when I was still in high school in Romania. Joined a troupe and went all over Europe and the U.S. I was an acrobat until I hurt my shoulder. Being with the circus is not a job; it’s a lifestyle. I love the traveling, and I love to see people laughing and smiling.”
