"I spent a lot of time with my grandmother when I was little because my mother worked during the day. She and I used to make bread from scratch and feed it to the squirrels, catch leaves on fire with her magnifying glass, and play dinosaurs in her backyard. Later on, I brought all my middle school drama to her and we talked about everything. We're best friends, but we butt heads too; I think that's because she's more like a mother to me than a grandmother. I have a lot of respect for her though. She's has good intuition about people, and she's usually right. She's helped me realize that I need to surround myself with good people, and she's definitely taught me a lot about men. She's been through some hard things in her life, but she's strong and she likes to help other people. I'm strong too, but I think I'm stronger on the outside than on the inside. I can listen to friends and try to help them out with their problems, but it's harder to figure things out when it comes to me."
