"My family has always stressed the value of an education. In a world where not all women have the chance to study, it's important to take advantage of opportunities to better ourselves and our community. I'm a Day Scholar at Rhodes, majoring in Biology with a double minor in Creative Writing and Religious Studies. I want to go to medical school and give back to the community that way. Even if I do my residency somewhere else, I have a feeling I'll be coming back to Memphis to practice."
